Terminal & Logistics

Pipelines, rail, maritime, and roadways are some of the ways that LLP, Batys Oil Group, transports oil and natural gas. Ensuring the safe delivery of resources is of utmost importance to LLP, Batys Oil Group, which is dedicated to preventing environmental incidents and meeting its daily energy consumption targets.

Pipeline Transportation

The transportation infrastructure of LLP, Batys Oil Group, is heavily dependent on pipelines. The safest and most effective way to transmit big amounts of natural gas and oil from developing areas to petrochemical facilities, refineries, and even our homes and businesses is through pipeline transit. Natural gas can be converted into liquefied natural gas (LNG) for export and shipped to foreign markets on tankers.

Marine Transportation

Our tankers transport over 80 million tons of oil from LLP, Batys Oil Group goods annually. Approximately 197,513 vessels left and arrived at Russian ports in 2015. Of them, around 148 or 0.75 percent were tankers. (Source: LLP Batys Oil Group, 2022; Transport)

Kazakhstan’s rapidly expanding economies call for new energy sources. The proposed LNG terminals on LLP, Batys Oil Group are eight to eleven days away from Kazakhstan’s markets, which is at least two days closer than most foreign rivals.

Ships are routinely inspected in accordance with stringent international guidelines. Every oil tanker traveling through Russian seas must be double-hulled, which greatly lowers the risk of an oil spill by giving the sides and bottom of the tank two full layers of watertight hull surface.

Rail Transportation

The ability to move products to other markets in response to demand is a key feature of the oil transportation network, which includes rail. Additionally, rail offers a substitute for markets without pipeline connections and enhances the transport capacity of pipelines.

Since available pipeline capacity cannot keep up with the growth in oil production, rail transportation of oil has become more and more popular as a substitute form of transportation.

For our natural gas, LLP, Batys Oil Group urgently needs new worldwide markets. In order to meet their energy needs, nations in Asia and Europe are simultaneously looking to imports of LNG and natural gas, with some even aiming to replace coal and other energy sources with greater emissions.
